Instachef is a 6 month old start-up business that is looking to make it easy for South Africans to find a private chef online as it is to book a room or reserve a table at a top restaurant(dependent on availability that is). The dinner’s host arranges the meal by browsing our database of profiled chefs, who range from slick, credentialed professionals with years of restaurant experience to student chefs. Our site actively seeks out such homegrown chefs by posting fliers,posting and scouring classified sites and word of mouth. Bookings are all-inclusive: payment is up front and includes tip. Cooks do the shopping and, also clean up before they leave. Our goal is to unify the intimacy of a dinner party with the ease of walking into restaurant: Whether it's a worry-free meal at home with a professional chef or an exotic dinner party in an extraordinary location.
